Elizabeth Obermeyer-Kostash, Librarian

Elizabeth has worked in academic, research, and corporate libraries in the Hamilton-Burlington area for over 15 years, and has been with the Juravinski Cancer Centre's Patient & Family Resource Centre since its opening in January 2007.  Empowering patients and family members through information is her passion and seeking out and using the best possible electronic resources are her specialties.  Elizabeth holds a B.A. from McMaster University and a Library Technician Diploma from Mohawk College.

Sharon McChesney, Librarian

Sharon has worked in libraries for over 20 years.  She started her career with McMaster University's Mills Memorial Library and moved to the Juravinski Cancer Centre's staff library 14 years ago.  She is enjoying her new role in the Patient & Family Resource Centre, assisting patients with their information needs.  Her primary role is sourcing current, credible information for the resource centre's collection, as well as the cataloguing of all materials.  Sharon is a retired Registered Nurse, and has a Library Technician diploma from Mohawk College.
